INDIEGOGO

For the first time in its 17 years of bringing FREE orchestral music to the public, Mill Valley Philharmonic (MVP) is going on a LOCAL PARKS TOUR. Under the direction of Laurie Cohen, our sixty musicians will perform an all-American program at the Gate Band Shell (June 3rd), on Angel Island (June 4th), and at Fort Mason Gallery 308 (June 11th). Concerts in the parks are all at 1:00pm. Our home base kick-off concert will be in Mill Valley on May 31st at 7:30pm at the Mt. Tamalpais Methodist Church. We need your help in raising $20,000 to fund MVP’s Local Parks Tour! We are very excited to offer these free community events to our regular audiences, and to present a musical surprise to people who are visiting the parks on our concert days.

To make the MVP Local Parks Tour a success, we are embarking on our first-ever crowd funding campaign. Through our Indiegogo campaign, MVP hopes to raise the $20,000 we need to help fund venue and facilities cost, transportation of orchestra members and their instruments, sheet music rentals and purchases, and all the background work it takes to run the orchestra.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to our campaign. Any level of giving that is meaningful to you is significant to us.
